Vivos system offers nonsurgical treatment using an appliance called DNA appliance from Vivos.
The DNA appliance resembles a retainer; however, it’s actually a custom-fitted device designed to subtly alter the shape and position of your hard palate and lower jaw similar to how braces alter them over time. As your palate widens and your jaw shifts forward over time, more airway space will open up for easier breathing at night as a result of which you will relieve obstructive sleep apnea, snoring or TMJ dysfunction symptoms.
Your treatment will typically last between 12-24 months with you wearing the Vivos DNA appliance for 12-24 months before no longer needing it.

Vivos Oral Appliance therapy was recently demonstrated in an empirical patient study, with its effectiveness revealed:
Dr. Rubi Marconi, founder of Marconi Dental Aesthetics, was motivated by such results to become a Vivos oral appliance provider.
This breakthrough system addresses the root of your symptoms, correcting them without surgery or CPAP machine use! Our Vivos dental appliance can assist if you are experiencing sleep disordered breathing or TMJ dysfunction; once completed, symptoms such as:

Answer: The Vivos Oral Appliance, more commonly referred to as the Daytime-Nighttime Appliance (DNA), is a non-invasive treatment device for treating sleep-disordered breathing conditions like obstructive sleep apnea, snoring and TMJ dysfunction. It works by gently altering the shape and position of hard palate and lower jaw to optimize airflow during restful slumber.
Answer: Vivos System differs from Continuous Positive Airway Pressure machines in that it addresses structural causes for sleep apnea rather than simply providing temporary symptomatic relief through continuous airflow. With its more comfortable, noise-free solution that seeks permanent improvements in airway structure, Vivos offers permanent solutions.
Answer: Vivos Treatment may help those experiencing obstructive sleep apnea, chronic snoring and TMJ dysfunction; however, eligibility for treatment depends on an individual assessment conducted by Dr. Marconi to ascertain whether Vivos is indeed suitable. An appointment must be scheduled to determine this.
Answer: Vivos Treatment typically lasts anywhere from 12-24 months, depending on an individual’s specific needs and severity of their condition. Each day during treatment, they wear their custom-fitted Vivos appliance for a set period.
Answer: Yes, the Vivos Oral Appliance is custom fitted for each patient’s mouth to provide maximum comfort. While some patients may take some time getting used to wearing an appliance like this one, most find that it provides superior sleep assistance than alternatives such as CPAP machines.
Answer: Vivos Oral Appliance is typically well-tolerated with minimal side effects. Although some patients may experience temporary discomfort or an adjustment period while becoming used to their appliance, any concerns should be discussed during your consultation with Dr. Marconi.
Answer: The Vivos System was designed to address structural causes of sleep apnea, with hopes of decreasing or even eliminating symptoms altogether. While many patients experience positive results, it’s important to have realistic expectations as results may differ depending on individual patients.
Answer: Step one is scheduling an appointment with Dr. Marconi. At your visit, Dr. Marconi will conduct a thorough physical examination, discuss symptoms and determine whether the Vivos System is right for you. If this proves successful, a custom treatment plan will be developed specifically tailored for you.
Answer: Your coverage for Vivos Treatment depends on your insurance plan, but our office can assist in understanding those benefits as well as exploring financing solutions if necessary.

Most cleanings and exams last about an hour to an hour and a half, ensuring every step of your care is thorough and comfortable.
We begin with a detailed exam, medical/sleep history, and imaging (X-rays/3D scans if needed) to assess your airway, jaw position, tongue space, and TMJ function. From there, we determine if Vivos therapy is appropriate for your sleep-disordered breathing or TMJ symptoms.
Impressions or digital scans are taken to design your custom Vivos DNA (Daytime-Nighttime Appliance). Once fabricated, we fit and adjust the appliance so it seats comfortably and starts gently guiding changes in your palate and jaw position.
You wear the appliance as directed—typically part of the day and at night—over 12–24 months. During this time, we schedule regular follow-up visits to adjust the appliance, monitor airway changes, reduce symptoms like snoring or headaches, and support TMJ relief.
After the active phase, we re-evaluate your airway, sleep symptoms, and jaw function to confirm the improvements. We review any maintenance or retainer-style use (if needed), reinforce healthy sleep habits, and coordinate with your physician or sleep specialist as part of your long-term wellness plan.
